The 129-012 has twelve heavy duty coat hooks welded to a brushed steel rail, providing a heavy duty wall-mounted coat rack solution.
No, this is not a pretty coat hook rail for public areas and boardrooms. That's not what it was designed for. It's meant for working gear such as lab coats, hard hats and tool belts. It's plain, simple, and serves the purpose intended.
One thing it won't hold properly is hardhats, because the front-to-back spacing on the hooks is 1-1/2" and that means it doesn't protrude enough to engage the webbing. It's a strong hook, but it can't do everything.
The 129-012 has 12 hooks, but if that's more than you really need, it's also available as a 6 hook panel. Available finishes are Black and Silver.
The smaller version of this coat rack was tested and found to have a structural integrity weight capacity of 70 Pounds per hook. That's right, 70 pounds per hook. We mounted the smaller 6 hook unit on a hardwood surface and ran out of weights. We still don't know the failure weight. That 6 hook unit was still hanging tough at 420 pounds. This unit is twice as big and built exactly the same. We firmly believe it will handle a dozen tool belts.
