The 342-202 front mount coat knob is available in Black, White, or Silver powder coat finish.
This Front Mount version of these coat knobs use hanger bolts to mount on doors, walls, and other surfaces where the opposite side of the attachment surface can't use a regular bolt. A hanger bolt is a piece of connecting hardware with a pointed tip and wood screw threads on one end and machine screw threads on the other. It's designed to be screwed into wood, such as the back of a door or a wooden plaque, and then the hook screwed on to the exposed machine screw threads. It is not recommended for use in drywall although it can be used with a plastic drywall anchor. However, plastic drywall anchors will not hold much weight, perhaps five pounds.
A cut is directly behind the knob face to provide an index point for a coat hanger.
